Since I was a young kid, I loved any type of toy that I could control with a remote. I remember my brother getting remote controlled "boy" toys and being jealous. I'd sneak and grab one of his to play with it. I never owned one of my own during my childhood. Of course, I couldn't have one because I'm a girl. Ha. He'd get very upset with me when I did, if he found out. I remember that little booger having a fit over it.
How things have changed. Today, not many people genderize (is that a word?) what is a boy's toy or girl's. I find that very cool. I wonder if people even dare to bother. I'm very happy for the social acceptance about toys.
I still love all things remote controlled. My daughters and sons do as well. I definitely couldn't imagine one of my sons telling one of my daughters, hey you can't play with that, it's for boys. They would laugh so hard at them.
